We put together this check list that you can print out and use it for those of you that are very forgetful. Remebering the items on this list could help you and your guests have a camping trip full of good memories, not the horror stories of remember when we went camping but didnt have this type stories

First ITEM: REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF!
(1)Campground reservation info. Directions to the actual campground.

Second Set Of ITEMS TO DO:The Packing
(1)Put all food items on the bottom (you'll need other items first)
(2)Backpack, daypack, and/or fanny pack
(3)Bags,Tent bag, grocery bags, etc.
(4)Cardboard boxes if needed
(5)Ice Chests
(6)ICE!
(7) A 5 gallon bucket or similar container
(8)Large (18-30 gal) Rubbermaid(tm) container for food storage

Third Set Of ITEMS TO DO: Get The Lighting
(1)Check batteries!
(2) Bring a Maglight - The larger, the better
(3)Gas lantern (and/or electric)
(4)BIC lighters
(5)Matches (preferably water proof)
(6)Spare batteries and bulbs
(7))Spare lantern fuel and mantles
(8)Solar Panel
(9)Glow Sticks
(10)Batteryless Bulbless Flashlight
(11) Flares for lighting the fire with if need be and safety

Forth Set Of ITEMS TO DO:THE BEDDING and TENT ITEMS
(1)Sleeping bag for each person going
(2)Space Blanket
(3)Ground Cloth
(4) Tarp for big tents
(5)Floor Mats (use at tent entrance)
(6)Mattress or pad
(7) Inflator for air mattress, a tire pump portable will work here
(8)Pillows for everyone in the camping party that is going.
(9)Tent, account for having 1 for every 2 or 3 people in the group
(10) A back up tent in case first one gets damaged
(11) Seam Sealer
(12)Camp axe or hammer to pound tent stakes

(1)At least 1 gallon per person/day
(2) A Water filter if relying on natural water sources

TWELVETH Set Of ITEMS TO DO: Packing ALL THE FOOD AND DRINK SUPPLIES
(1)Pancake Mix 5 boxes
(2)Cooking Oil - About 1 oz per person per day or Pam Spray
(3)Syrup - About 3 bottles to cover a family of 4 more if higher in the group
(4)Butter - 1/2 stick per person per day
(5) Malt-o-meal, or Cream of...{wheat, rice, ...} I would pack at least 12 boxes of this
(6)Oatmeal - Instant single serving packs
(7)Potatoes - 1-2 per person per day -- freeze dried if packing
(8)Bacon - 5 or more packages
(9)Eggs - 1-2 per person per day, fresh or powdered, I would count on at least 5 doz here
(10)Noodles - Spaghetti, Angel Hair, Ramen, or shells
(11)Spaghetti Sauce - In jars or dehydrated

(13)Bouillon cubes - Chicken & Vegetable

(30)Taco Stuff - (Meat, seasoning package, olives, lettuce, tortillas, buns)make sure you count out enough to cover everyone in the group party say 3 each person.
(31)Hamburger meat (pre seasoned and ready to cook). I would go for 3 sets of these prepared

(33)Cocoa, Coffee, & Teas (don't forget SUGAR!)

We hope that you have found this list as useful as we did when we go camping, I make this a must do list that I usually split with my 4 boys and hubby to triple check we have all that we will need to make for a very fun and enjoyable camping trip for us all.

Feel free to print this out and split the list up so that you can get everything together and of course to NOT FORGET THAT ITEM That I am sure will be asked for once you get to the camp site, ask for family input and make it a event that starts out with this list, to make it to the camp site and HAVE FUN!!!
